| Andy Warhol once said, "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes"...well, while in my spotting of personal celebrities, his statement should be altered by about 14 minutes and 45 seconds. A few weeks ago, Francis Chan was spotted during the finale of American Idol and this brought about the appearance of Margaret, who also appeared previously on AI. The here one second, gone the next, celebrity bug has now hit a little closer to home. During a recent trip to CA for a Purpose Driven Church conference, Gateway Church's Pastor Jon and Kelly caught an audition taping of America's Got Talent and made their television debut just this week! Although their newfound fame didn't last long here's hoping the other 14 minutes and 45 seconds of fame come their way soon.
Grandma Jane's visit came to an end yesterday...I think she stayed one day too long! Just kidding, we were blessed to have an extra day with her and were able to spend a day at the King of Prussia Mall because when we arrived at the airport we learned that her flight was cancelled due to storms in Cleveland (her connecting city). That's why she stayed one day too long, cancelled flight, get it? I don't think she was very disappointed though, to be able to spend one more day with Jack. Her visit was wonderful and helped Carly and I relax during the first week or so of having a baby at home. Until today I don't think Carly realized how much help an extra person, especially a mom can be. There's not a lot that can be done between 2 hour long feedings and very short naps. However, Jack has been sleeping quite well at night, 2 out of the last 3 nights he has slept through the whole night...he was officially 2 weeks old today - amazing.

Proud Grandma and Mommy and Jack not wanting his picture taken

Here's Jack being quite photogenic...yeah, you can say it, he's a pretty good-looking boy!
Just curious...anyone sick of my blog turning into a virtual photo album of Jack? Well, if so, no apologies...it doesn't look to be changing anytime soon. |

| ...I think it's quite obvious that he's going to be a musician! What do you think? Jack broke into an impromptu jam session while snapping some photos yesterday. And don't think he's not well rounded, in addition to the guitar he also plays the ukulele.
